By the end of his administration, he could claim an increase of nearly eight million jobs and a decrease in the budget deficit, measured in percentage of the gross national product. Unfortunately, inflation and interest rates were at near record highs, and efforts to reduce them caused a short recession. VOTE MCCAIN/PALIN if you know whats best for our country!

ONLY the Dems and the monumentally stupid want you to think that SS will be privatized 100%, or that you would actually lose money conservatively investing in the market. The only proposal ever made was for 5%, and practically speaking, even that isn't affordable now, because the Dems have demonized SS reform for the last 20 years. Disgraceful! Wake up people!

Why don't you do a little research before you spread lies! In 2005, what he supported were private accounts that would have been voluntary. Anybody fearful of stock market risk could simply stay in the current system. Speculation in individual stocks would not have been permitted. Workers would have had a choice of a few, broadly diversified stock or bond funds.
